The Aptos layer 1 network went down and was down for more than four hours. On-chain transactions on the blockchain were suspended at block 104621314 at approximately 23:11 UTC, according to the analytics platform. Aptoscan.
The Aptos Labs team confirmed the failure and wrote a message to X:
Your energy for Aptos One was so electric, you cut the lights!
What that means at the moment is that transactions on the network have been impacted. We are working diligently to resolve the issue and will keep you updated upon completion.

Due to a failure, the cryptocurrency exchanges Upbit and OKX warned users about Aptos network maintenance. They added that deposits and withdrawals in APT tokens are temporarily suspended.
Notably, shortly before the network shutdown, Aptos Labs published a post on X commemorating the anniversary of the mainnet launch.

The outage lasted more than four hours. The project team reported that the problem has been resolved and the network is working normally. The incident did not affect the rate of the APT token. At the time of writing, it is trading at $4.98, according to Trading View.
