Compared to last year, it increased by 4 months – up to 15 years, and the trend of aging machines in Russia has been observed since 2008. In 2022, used cars have increased in price by 40% on average, and new cars have risen in price by 60% compared to April last year.”

At the same time, the age of cars differs from region to region. The most “deserved” cars are used in the Far East and Siberia. In Kamchatka, the average age reaches 20.2 years, in the Republic of Altai – 19.9 years, in the Jewish Autonomous Region – 19.1 years.

The “youngest” car fleet is observed in Tatarstan, where the average age of cars is 10 years. In Moscow and St. Petersburg, the average age is 11.5 and 12.2 years, respectively.

There are also differences between manufacturers. Chinese and Korean cars are the “youngest”, 4.3 years and 6 years respectively. And the most “adult” were right-hand drive models with an average age of 17 years.
