Remember what happened in season 2 of “The Bear”
After weeks of failing fire inspections, tearing down walls and fighting over every last detail, the team at the former burger joint The Beff is ready to open The Bear in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. Everything seems fine, until the chef gets trapped in the meat locker, sending him into a tailspin of drama and anxiety.
In a standout episode towards the end of the season, Richie trains at a Michelin-starred restaurant and returns to The Bear with double the confidence to handle customer service.
Syd, who spent the season dreaming up and planning a new menu, was ignored by Carmy, who proved to be unreliable. Still, she could trust the rest of the kitchen, except Marcus, who asked her out only to be rejected.
In the final episode, the nurse’s messages about Marcus’ mother’s health show that she is not well at all, leaving the calmest employee at The Bear distressed.
