High cost of living and limited services. It is these factors that penalize, together with the decline in global rankings, that make Italian university cities less and less interesting for students. London wins because it has many high-level universities and offers very high career opportunities after graduation. Ben Sowter, senior vice president of QS, according to the Sole24ore, explained: «The responses to our surveys from students who studied in London make it clear that this city offers extraordinary cultural, economic and educational opportunities. With two of the world’s top ten universities located in the city, it remains a world-leading educational hub. Worrying is the fact that, according to the QS parameters, cities are becoming less and less accessible for students, with a drop of just under 90% in our indicator “Affordability“Which measures the cost of university fees and the cost of living”.
