The best companies according to women

For the 5th consecutive year Great Place to Work Italia he drew up the ranking of the 20 companies in which collaborators are happiest to work. In those realities where there is serenity in the workplace, best work-life balances, benefits and awards.

“In the last five years we have listened to more than 85 thousand women and we have identified a clear improvement in the satisfaction of collaborators with their work environments and, over the same period, the trust of the same employees in their leaders has increased by 8 points “, he claims Alessandro Zollo, CEO of Great Place to Work Italia.

Fairness, trust, respect, pride and credibility: these are the qualities that make a company the ideal place for every employee. Thanks to the questionnaire, conducted on over 13,400 female workers, Great Place to Work has identified the 20 companies for which women are happiest to work in Italy.

Of the 20 companies listed in the ranking, 5, or 25% of the total, have a female CEO / General Manager and two companies led by a leader occupy the first places in the ranking. And that’s not all, the same organizations are also distinguished by the satisfaction of women, in many cases even higher than the figure of their male colleagues: 93% of them, in fact, declare that they work in a “great place to work” and this this figure is 50 points above the Italian average and two points above last year’s figure.

A further meeting point between the classified companies is the Parity Index, that is an index that groups together some issues such as fairness in promotions and remuneration, profit sharing, flexibility and the absence of discrimination related to gender. In the last five years, the figure has grown by as many as 9 points, while Equity records an increase of 8 points and, at the same time, also the positive opinion of 87% of the women of the awarded companies. This is a figure of 46 points above the Italian average and 2 points above the 2020 figure.

Specifically, the collaborators saw improve meritocracy in the company: the perception relative to the absence of corridor maneuvers to achieve one’s objectives has improved by 16 points and that relative to the absence of favoritism by 14. The 20 awarded companies have, on average, a Parity Index of 83% against a 38% of the Italian average. Going into more detail, 84% of women in classified organizations declare that they have particular benefits (+69 points compared to the Italian average) and 76% think that everyone can obtain special recognition for their work (+65 points). And again, in 86% of cases, there is greater serenity in the workplace with an increase of 62 points compared to the national average and, at the same time, 84% of employees say they have a better work-life balance (in this case the increase is 56 points). Finally, 94% of women in these companies believe that the new ways of working make it possible to carry out all work activities effectively.
