O Madonna show on Copacabana Beach on May 4 promises to be the biggest of the artist's career. The confirmation of the free presentation on the sands of Brazil's most famous beach has caused an exponential increase in searches for hotels and tickets.
To give you an idea, a survey by the Brazilian Federation of Lodging and Food (FBHA) revealed that occupancy in 3 and 4 star hotels could reach 100% on this date. Increases of up to 1,000% in searches for bus departures bound for Rio were recorded by Clickbus. Latam Airlines also revealed that there was a 30% increase in demand for airline tickets between May 1st and 4th, 2024.

Emiliano Rio
Born in São Paulo and opened in Rio in 2016, Emiliano Rio values luxury with privacy. There are 90 apartments, ranging between 42 and 120 m², all with clean decor. The Fairmont arrived in Rio in 2019 next to the Copacabana Fort and brought a design inspired by the city of the 1950s. There are a total of 375 accommodations divided into seven categories with different views of Copacabana.

JANEIRO opened its doors in Leblon in 2018 and presented its concept of minimalist luxury to Rio, curated by Oskar Metsavaht, the name behind Osklen. Facing the beach, the hotel has 51 apartments, all with sea views. They range from 25 to 75 m² and accommodate guests over 12 years old.
A swimming pool on the rooftop frames Morro Dois Irmãos and is a perfect spot for photographs. In Leblon, the Promenade Palladium is an apart-hotel option close to Posto 12 and the bars and restaurants on Rua Dias Ferreira. There are 71 accommodations, most with a balcony and equipped with a kitchenette.

B&B Hotel Santos Dumont
Recently opened next to Santos Dumont airport, the B&B Hotel is opposite Marina da Glória with tropical-themed decor. There are 112 apartments spread over 10 floors and divided into micro, standard and luxury categories. The hotel also has eight connecting rooms and coworking space.
At the top, a 388 m² rooftop overlooks Guanabara Bay – the plan is to house a restaurant in the near future. From Santos Dumont Airport to the hotel it is about a 10-minute walk and one of the ways to get to both addresses is by VLT.

JO&JOE Rio de Janeiro Largo do Boticário
Opened in 2022 after a R$70 million revitalization of Largo do Boticário, JO&JOE focuses on millennials and operates under a hybrid concept, which combines hostel-style rooms and private accommodation. There are 320 beds in 80 rooms and apartments, which accommodate up to eight people, as well as private and penthouse options.
