The rest of the top five in the best hotel category includes The Omina in Zermatt, Switzerland (second); Sani Dunes in Greece (third); Kandolhu Maldives (fourth) and Achtis Hotel in Afitos, Greece (fifth). In the category of “hottest new hotels”, a new category for 2021, Arinna in Cappadocia, Turkey takes the gold medal, with a guest who called it “more than perfect” on Tripadvisor.
The other highly rated hotels in this category are Armenaki Santorini (second); the Anttunina Pousada Spa, Brazil (third); the Peridot Grand Hotel and Spa by Aira in Hanoi, Vietnam (fourth) and the Hotel Bidaia in San Sebastian, Spain (fifth). In another new category, the “postcard hotels”, Emerald Maldives Resort and Spa was declared the best for 2021. It is followed by the Golden Temple Hotel in Cambodia (second), by the Sextantio Le Grotte della Civita in Matera , Italy (third); La Fortuna in Atitlan in Guatemala (fourth) and Rocabella Mykonos Hotel in Greece (fifth).
