As analysts from the AUTOSTAT company note, almost 19 thousand new cars from China were sold in Russia in the first quarter of this year. This is 79% more than in the same period last year. Among the Russians, the most popular was the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro model, which was sold in the amount of 3,044 units.
The second line is occupied by the Haval F7 crossover, which sold 2,941 units. Sales of this vehicle grew 77% year over year. Chery Tiggo 4 closes the top three with 2,271 sold cars, which is 2.4 times more than last year.
The ten best-selling Chinese cars in Russia also included Haval F7x (1,911 units), last year’s leader Geely Atlas (1,463 units), Geely Coolray (1,451 units), Haval Н5 (948 units), Chery Tiggo 8 (713 units) , Haval H9 (549 units) and CHERYEXEED TXL (520 units).
