The maximum sentence of 20 years was again requested by the French prosecutor, Stefan Kelenberger, as he described the requests of the sentence for former surgeon, Joel Le Scarnek, who had admitted in March that he had sexually abused 300, and 300 children, anesthesia or waking up after surgery. In detail, the former surgeon is accused of 111 rape and 189 sexual attacks, mainly under minors under 15 years, in twelve western France hospitals.
