The Blockchain Awards took place on October 26

The first Russian-language media about cryptocurrencies, Bits.media, celebrated its tenth anniversary at the awards ceremony for the leaders and best projects of the blockchain industry.

The Blockchain Awards 2021 was presented on October 26 at the Moscow Soho Rooms club. The event was attended by leaders of the blockchain industry, company founders, analysts, marketers and investors. Blockchain Awards 2021 was timed to coincide with the anniversary of Bits.media, and an expert jury selected the winners of the award in 12 nominations.

The award ceremony began after the welcome speech of the founder of Bits.media Ivan Tikhonov and Alexey Karpov – CEO of bitcoin explorer Bitaps.com, who acted as a gold sponsor of the Blockchain Awards. The event participants were also greeted by the organizers of the award – the founder of the decentralized autonomous venture capital ecosystem DAO.vc Georgy Galoyan and founder of Byzantium, a marketing consulting agency Peter Bel.

The winner of the “Crypto Pioneer” nomination is the founder of the Ukrainian Blockchain Association, the CryptoRus charity foundation and the Kuna cryptocurrency exchange Mikhail Chobanyanwho joined the video broadcasting event. The “Event of the Decade” prize was awarded to the forum Blockhain Life, which took place on October 26-27 in Moscow.

“Blockchain Life is a forum that gathers as many people from the cryptocurrency industry as any other event in the CIS has ever succeeded. And not only quantity is important, but also quality. At this forum you can meet specialists and business owners who are almost impossible to see at other events, ”the leading events noted.

The co-founder of Roskomsvoboda won in the nomination “Crypto Lawyer of the Decade” Sarkis Darbinyan, who defended in court the interests of monitoring Bestchange exchangers, Binance exchange and mathematician Dmitry Bogatov. The Media Portal of the Decade was awarded Forklog.com, and the award for contributions to cryptojournalism – Andrey Zakharov, who conducted his own investigation of the situation around the BTC-e exchange. The winners in other nominations are:

• DeFi Specialist of the Year – Denis Smirnov, DAO / DeFi Consultant, Cryptocurrency Researcher;

• Nomination “Hype 2021” – Morgenstern, musician and creator of the KaifCoin project;

• For contribution to development in Media and PR – Tатьяна Максименко, Founder of IdolMe PR Agency and Chief Editor of CoinFox;

• For contribution to the fight for the rights of the crypto business – Artyom Tolkachev, founder of bondappetit.io;

• For his contribution to the unification of the crypto community – Sergey Khitrov, founder of the international forum Blockchain Life and the Listing.help project.

After the presentation of the award, a gala dinner, speeches by speakers, as well as an entertainment program and networking with the participants and winners of the award took place. A stand-up comedian performed at the event Ivan Usovich, included in the TOP-10 stand-up comedians in Russia according to the Maxim magazine.
