The answer is: Yes ! Prime Video has confirmed the renewal of the series for a 5th season. The news was released before the 4th season even aired.
Now, the world of “The Boys” will have to deal with the events triggered by the political crisis and the domination of the supers that occurred during the 4th season.

What will season 5 of “The Boys” be like?
Regarding the plot of season 5, Eric Kripke revealed to the website ScreenRant in May that the script was already in development. “We’ve been working in the writers’ room for a month, so we already have some really cool ideas.”
He also said that the plot is moving forward with some crazy ideas. “It’s a volatile business like lava. Right now, it hasn’t solidified into anything, but I’m very excited. I think there’s some crazy stuff being talked about, for sure,” said the producer.
After season five, will there be more episodes of “The Boys”?
No. The creator Erick Kripke 50, stressed that this will be the last sequel in the dysfunctional superhero story. “Season 5 will be the last! Always my plan, I just had to be cautious until I got final approval from Vought [empresa ficticia da série]”, he wrote at the time.
Regarding expectations for the final phase of the series, the actor Antony Starr 48, who plays the villain Captain Pátria, said he believes the next season is the “right time” to stop.
“I’m very conscious that I want us to go out on a really positive, strong note. I don’t want us to be the show that took a season too far and fizzled out,” he told IGN.
“On behalf of everyone who works on the show, I think we deserve to leave with our heads held high, without feeling like we should have left sooner or that we overstayed our welcome, so to speak,” he said. While the actor believes it will be a good time to wrap up “The Boys,” he also concluded that “it will be hard to leave.”
When does the new season of “The Boys” premiere?
The streaming service has not yet announced an official premiere date for the next season, but Erick Kripke has already said that filming should take place between November 2024 and the end of the first half of 2025.
