What do you like about Carla’s character?
«As soon as I read the script I felt a power and a determination that immediately struck me. Knowing her and interacting with her, I made friends, trying to work as much as possible to make her credible. I was inspired by my family, which is of Venetian origin and which in the past worked the land ».

It is also very beautiful that sisterhood and that support that is anything but obvious.
«I was born in a family with a presence of diversity: my sister Giorgia has Down syndrome, and I think it is very nice to learn to discover the other moment by moment, without letting oneself be influenced by judgment. Carla, for example, is a woman who has understood that certain attitudes are needed to make herself heard: consequently, her character is an armor to protect herself, her family and her ideals “.

How do you feel when you see yourself on television?
«I feel like a child, I look at myself with new eyes and I can never recognize myself. I played a character who resembles me in ideals, but is very far from me not in character and attitudes. Seeing a person who looks like me but who doesn’t behave like me is strange ».

How was she as a child?
“Very shy and reserved. With this job I was able to test myself, even if I’m still afraid to talk and introduce myself. I have always tried to be a better person to get to know myself ».

If I had asked her what would she have wanted to be when she grew up at the time?
“I still don’t feel great today. Maybe one day I’ll wake up and want to do something else. I don’t think this is the job I will do forever because life changes you, so many things can happen to you. I started studying painting because, ever since I got out of my womb, drawing and painting have always been my vocation. After that, however, I felt the need to use the word, as if I needed to find a voice or, simply, to remember I had it. So, 5 years ago, I moved to Rome ».

When did the ball arrive?
“I’ve always studied amateur acting at school. I remember that an acting teacher came to class and asked us to do an audition: I worked hard because I wanted to but, since I was a loser, no one voted for me. Then I pretended to cry and everyone, after a revotation, elected me ».
