The buyers’ lead in the Stock Exchange is light

The Athens Stock Exchange is currently testing its strength in the zone of 920 points, as it tries to keep the positive tone at levels that it has been deprived of for more than a month.

In particular, the General Index records gains of 0.19% at 923.10 points, while the turnover is at 5.5 million euros and the volume at 1.8 million units. The FTSE 25 rose 0.20% to 2,240.56 points, while the banking index rose 0.56% to 655.16 points.

The buyers' lead in the Stock Exchange is light

As the flow of results intensifies, the ATHEX is in the process of adjusting its position, as not only do portfolios improve their visibility at the balance sheet level, but they also want to encapsulate profits in securities that led to the market recovery and revise the stance. to others who fell behind.

After all, the improvement in turnover observed at yesterday’s meeting, in a week when foreigners are heading to the Catholic Easter holidays, is a sign that interest in the ATHEX is gradually restoring.

Expectations for market movement, in view of the holidays on Friday and Monday, are now limited to purely technical terms, and even tomorrow’s meeting of the European Central Bank is not expected to add anything more to the data already on the market. As long as the general index is maintained above 910 points, the next target is 939 points.

The banking index should resolutely cross the level of 655-660 points, in order to show the movement towards 674 points. In any case, in order to give the strong message of the upward trend, the trading activity must be improved.
