The cameraman of a Turkish television crew was injured by an Israeli attack in Gaza

A crew of the Arabic-language TRT Arabic service of the Turkish public television network was hit by Israeli shelling in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the Gaza Strip. In his post on Platform X, the head of the Turkish presidency's Communication Directorate, Fahrettin Altun, claims that “the deliberate targeting of journalists by occupying Israel continues unabated.” According to Altun, the TRT Arabic crew vehicle, which was preparing to broadcast from the Nuseirat camp in Gaza, was hit by an Israeli military airstrike. Sami Shahada, who works as a freelance cameraman, was seriously injured and taken to surgery, while TRT Arabi journalist Sami Berhoum escaped unhurt. “We condemn this heinous attack.
