Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme India, posted on Twitter that the company is already working on a smartphone called Realme 8. The announcement took place five months after the release of Realme 7.
In another message, he published an image of the main camera module with four image sensors, while the main one will have a resolution of 108 megapixels. That is, the Realme 8 will be the company’s first 108-megapixel smartphone. At the same time, according to the already established tradition, Realme 8 will become the cheapest smartphone with a 108-megapixel camera.
According to rumors, Realme 8 will be based on the MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC and will receive 8GB of RAM. The phone is also expected to have a screen with a high refresh rate, and the operating system will be Android 11 with the Realme UI 2.0 shell.
The Realme 8 Pro version should receive more interesting hardware, which has not yet been reported.
