Dacia has begun accepting orders for the new Jogger SUV in Europe, starting at € 14,990 for the five-seater and from € 15,750 for the seven-seat version. Dacia claims the Jogger is the most affordable car in its class. In fact, it is a versatile variant of the Sandero / Sandero Stepway crossover, as evidenced by the overall body panels and interior design.
The Jogger is available in four trim levels: Essential, Comfort, Extreme Limited Edition and Extreme + Limited Edition. In France, all Jogger models come in a standard five-seater and an optional seven-seater, with the latter offering up to 60 different configurations. Regardless of trim level, the cost of an additional row of seats is € 750 ($ 850).
In the seven-seater version, the trunk volume is 213 liters, in the five-seater version it is up to 842 liters. The maximum volume is 1819 liters when the third row is removed and the second row is folded. Essential standard equipment includes six airbags, a light sensor, fog lights, front power windows, AEB and a multimedia control system that allows the driver to use their smartphone as an infotainment system.
The Comfort version for 16,700 euros received a manual air conditioner, modular roof rails, 16-inch steel Flex wheels, electric mirrors, automatic wipers, rear parking sensors, an 8-inch multimedia display, two USB ports, rear power windows, central armrests and various design elements.
The Extreme Limited Edition, priced from € 17,700, features black 16-inch alloy wheels, a shark-fin antenna, black mirrors and gray Megalith shields. This version gets a Media Nav system with navigation and wireless smartphone mirroring, a rearview camera, floor and cargo mats, and automatic air conditioning. The Extreme + Limited Edition, priced at € 18,200, adds a Comfort Pack, a Europe Navigation Pack and a spare wheel, which can be purchased for € 200 in other trim levels.
The Jogger is powered by either a 1.0 TCe 110 three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine producing 109 hp. or 1.0 TCe 100 Bi-Fuel with 99 hp. Both engines are powered by a six-speed manual transmission that sends power to the front wheels. The car received factory HBO, and the cruising range reaches 1000 km.
Buyers will be able to order the Dacia Jogger from December 3rd. The model is expected to arrive in showrooms in March 2022.
