The Chinese are looking for a solution for police dogs that… remain friendly

Police Academy in China announced that it is holding an auction to find new housing for 54 dogs who have been rejected from a training program because they are too calm and gentle for a career in law enforcement.

The University School of Criminology in Liaoning Province, China, announced that dogs, mainly German Shepherds, hybrid Dutch Shepherds and Belgian Shepherds will be auctioned on 7 July.

The school said the dogs were rejected from the police training program for a variety of reasons, including shy personalities, physical weakness, failure to follow instructions and refusal to bite when given orders.

Each dog will receive a home if those interested pay $ 30 with bids increasing by $ 7.7 by the end of the auction.

The school clarifies that buyers must sign an agreement to follow government regulations for proper dog care, which new owners are prohibited from reselling or finding housing elsewhere.
