Chinese President Xi Jinping will travel to Peru and Brazil next week to participate in the APEC and G20 meetings – where it was earlier announced that outgoing US President Joe Biden will also be present – Beijing has informed. He will visit Lima from Nov. 13 to 17 and Rio from Nov. 17 to 21, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said in a statement. In Peru, Xi Jinping “will participate in the 31st meeting (…) of APEC”, the 21-member Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, and pay an official visit.
