The command of the ISS was transferred to the American astronaut

TASS special correspondent cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev said that the command of the International Space Station (ISS) was temporarily transferred to the American NASA astronaut Thomas Marshburn, but in April it will be transferred to the representative of Russia.

As part of the ceremony, Russian crew member Anton Shkaplerov gave the American astronaut a symbolic key to the station, saying the following: “Tom, I know you, you are a professional and will be a professional commander of the ISS.”

At the end of April, before returning to Earth, Marshburn will hand over the key to the station to Artemiev, who on Tuesday already assumed responsibility for the Russian segment.
