British company Nothing, founded by former OnePlus CEO Carl Pei, has unveiled its first commercial product, ear (1) wireless headphones.

The device stands out for its design: part of the headphone case and case are transparent. Nothing calls its headphones ultra-light, weighing 4.7 grams per earpiece. IPX7 splash protection available.

ear (1) features three microphones, Active Noise Cancellation and a Transparency mode. The autonomy of the headphones with active noise cancellation turned on, according to Nothing, is 4.5 hours, the autonomy of the case is 25 hours. The case has the ability to charge wirelessly.

The headphones received an 11.6mm dynamic driver. Ear (1) was developed by Teenage Engineering, known for its synthesizers. Supported codecs: AAC and SBC.

Ear (1) has a touchpad and gestures can be customized using the official iOS and Android app. Also, through it, you can search for headphones using sound, adjust the equalizer, adjust noise reduction and update the firmware.

Nothing ear (1) will be sold directly from the company’s website, on Amazon and Flipkart marketplaces, as well as in Selfridges, HBX, Kith, MR PORTER stores. Headphones cost $ 99, € 99, ​​or £ 99 depending on the region.
