Google has released an update for the web version of the Google Photos service. The web version now looks more like the Google Photos mobile apps for Android and iOS, which received a big update in 2020.
Now the web interface has the Explore and Favorites tabs. The Explore tab is essentially the same as the mobile Search tab. It offers several collections by category – people, places and things, as well as screenshots, videos, and so on.
There is also a separate tab for favorites – Favorites, allowing you to quickly navigate to content previously marked by the user with an asterisk.
The distribution of the new interface is not very wide yet, but in the coming days, innovations should appear among the majority of users.
