The Constitutional Court has dismissed Thai Prime Minister

The Thai Constitutional Court of Justice today dismissed Prime Minister Paetongarted Sinaiyratra and its cabinet because of its handling of tensions between its country and neighboring Cambodia. In their verdict, nine judges estimated that it had violated the moral rules required by a prime minister during a June telephone conference with the former Cambodian leader Hun Sen, who leaked online. A week ago, Patonongar’s father, Taksin Sinauatra, was relieved of the charges in his trial for the king’s defamation. The 76 -year -old billionaire former prime minister was at risk of being sentenced to up to 15 years in prison after being found guilty. Patonongar Sinauatra becomes the third member of her family who abandons the government’s leadership after her father and aunt Yingluk, who both were overthrown by military coups.
