An important move for the relocation of the Courts, civil and criminal as well as the prosecutor, Evelpidon, in the building complex of the Supreme Court of Appeal, was made this morning with the signing of the relevant contract with the HRDH
This is the contract for the maturation of the project “Financing, Design, Construction and Technical Management of the building of the Athens Court of First Instance and the Athens Prosecutor’s Office” which is part of the National Plan for Recovery and Sustainability, signed today, Tuesday 22 February 2022, the Minister Of Justice, Costas Tsiaras and the Authorized Advisor of the HRDH, Panagiotis Stampoulidis.
In the context of the implementation of the project, the HRDH undertakes the technical support for the maturation actions required until the inclusion of the Project in the list of approved PPP projects for its inclusion in Law 3389/2005.
The Minister of Justice, Costas Tsiaras, stated: “With today’s signing of the agreement between the Ministry of Justice and the HRDH, the most emblematic project for the operation of Justice is finally entering the implementation path.
With the technical support of HRDH, the process for the relocation of the civil-criminal courts of the former School of Guards to new, highly aesthetic and functional facilities, as befits a modern and effective Rule of Law, and at the same time creates an architectural and urban planning in the area. a reference point as well as a strong growth pole. ”
The Acting Advisor of the HRDH, Panagiotis Stampoulidis, stated: “The HRDH responds with speed and dedication to the role assigned to it by the Greek State for the maturation of strategically important projects, which have been included for funding in the Recovery and Reconstruction Fund. and the creation of new courthouses, as well as the overall improvement of the Greek judicial infrastructure will lead to an upgrade of the prestige of the Greek Justice for the benefit of citizens and businesses. “We thank the Ministry of Justice for the trust it shows in the HRDH and for the efficient cooperation we have developed. We continue dynamically with the other projects that have joined the Strategic Contracts Unit – PPF of the Fund” .
