Corsair has announced a line of mid-tower cases including the 5000D, 5000D AIRFLOW and iCUE 5000X RGB models. All 5000 Series enclosures feature the Corsair RapidRoute cable management system to route cables quickly and neatly. It includes a hidden main channel that houses all cables that connect to the motherboard and removable channels for other cables. The 25mm spacing between the system board and the chassis wall allows for easy cable routing.

Another common feature is the presence of standard fans with Corsair AirGuide technology, the essence of which is the formation of a directed air flow. The 5000D and 5000D AIRFLOW enclosures have two 120mm fans. The 5000X RGB case houses three SP120 RGB ELITE AirGuide fans, each adorned with eight addressable RGB LEDs. The lighting can be controlled with the included iCUE Lighting Node CORE controller and the Corsair iCUE app. In any case, up to 10 120 mm fans or up to 4 140 mm fans can be installed. If the choice is made in favor of LSS, several radiators can be placed in the case at once, including models with a length of 360 mm.

The chassis is designed for two 3.5-inch drives and four 2.5-inch drives. The I / O panel has one USB 3.1 Type-C and two USB 3.0 Type-A ports.

The difference between the models lies in the design plane. The 5000D features a modest steel front fascia with air intakes. The 5000D AIRFLOW has triangular openings for maximum airflow. As for the 5000X RGB, this case has four tempered glass panels, through which the backlighting of the components is clearly visible.

The 5000D and 5000D AIRFLOW models cost $ 165 each, while the 5000X RGB is $ 205. Sales have already started.
