The volume of transactions on the Ethereum network continues to grow. Their dollar value per day is 28% more than the total cost of transactions in the Bitcoin blockchain.
“The daily volume of transactions on the Ethereum network is growing parabolic. The current figure is $ 12 billion, which is $ 3 billion more than Bitcoin, “Watkins wrote on Twitter:

The statistics do not include transactions with ERC-20 tokens, except for stablecoins. This is done to avoid duplication of volumes when counting transactions on decentralized cryptocurrency exchanges (DEX).
The Blockchain Center portal has a special indicator “Flippening Index”, which is based on 8 key characteristics of the Ethereum and Bitcoin blockchains and shows how much activity on the Ethereum network exceeds that of the first cryptocurrency network. At the moment, the index is equal to 63.5%.
Along with the growth of the cryptocurrency market, there is also an increase in the volume of transactions, both in the Ethereum network and in the Bitcoin network. BTC trading volumes and the number of active addresses recently surpassed all-time highs at the end of 2017.
