During the stay of the crown prince of Saudi Arabia in Athens, eleven international and 17 business deals were signed. Particularly:
-The establishment of the Supreme Council of Strategic Cooperation of the two countries was established, which, as noted by government officials, consolidates the bilateral strategic relationship and promotes bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
– Agreements were signed concerning energy, military cooperation, investments, scientific and technological cooperation, health, crime fighting, culture and sports, technical cooperation in the fields of standardization and quality, cooperation in archiving and management files.
-The agreement was signed for the construction of the East to Med data Corridor submarine cable, which is expected to make our country a data entry gateway to the European Union, simultaneously connecting it to the Middle East and Asia.
-During a meeting of senior executives of approximately 100 Greek and 40 Saudi Arabian companies, 16 business agreements and Memorandums of Cooperation were signed in the fields of energy, maritime transport, aquaculture, waste management, culture, food and agricultural products, construction and defense technology.
