The crime in Senago, first results of the autopsy: 37 stab wounds against Giulia Tramontano

Julia Tramontano he would have had no chance to defend himself. The first results of the autopsy on the body of the 29-year-old seventh month pregnant woman killed on the night of 27 May 2023 in Senago by her 30-year-old companion Alessandro Impagnatiello, who confessed to the murder, say so.

There would have been 37 stab wounds inflicted, almost all the upper part of the body, two of the fatal ones, the latter in the neck: one to the carotid artery, the other to the subclavian artery. There are no signs of defense on the body of Giulia Tramontano, who would have been attacked from behind her. The many stab wounds would indicate the aggravating circumstance of the cruelty that the magistrate did not recognize, but requested by the magistrates.

Difficult to indicate the exact time of death because Impagnatiello tried twice set fire to the body. The burns altered the tissue. Toxicological and even entomological tests were also carried out to understand how long the body remained outside.

There are currently no elements to say whether the 30-year-old was helped by someone, but we are trying to figure out whether there was a attempted poisoning with the two sachets of rat poison found in Impagnatiello’s backpack. This would confirm the premeditation hypothesized by the prosecutors.

No hypothesis can yet be advanced or formalized in a dispute which then must to bring Impagnetiello to the court of Assizes with the maximum of aggravating circumstances».

The Milan Public Prosecutor’s Office could soon give the go-ahead for the burial of Julia’s body. The funeral may not be until the middle of next week. On June 15, unrepeatable investigations will be carried out on three computers and a tablet seized in the apartment.

The Prime Minister also spoke about the case Giorgia Meloni, interviewed by Bruno Vespa. “It’s a story that took my breath away. I called Giulia’s mother, as her mother. When these things happen, the first thing I do is always think of my mother. We have intervened with a provision in the context of the red code, but it is a cultural question ».
