Have you ever thought about having a piece of clothing, jewelry or an object belonging to royalty? With the end of the last season of Netflix’s The Crown, it will be possible! This is because the production of the series announced a auction of 450 items, with objects ranging from props, furniture and costumes, as well as, of course, the reproduction of the “revenge dress” worn by Princess Diana in 1994.
It is worth mentioning that the auction takes place in February 2024 and the idea is to revert the entire amount raised in student scholarships at the National Film and Television School.
Among the items, highlights include reproductions of the carriage, cloak and throne used on the day of the coronation by actress Claire Foy, who played Queen Elizabeth II in the first two seasons of the series. Also available will be the iconic engagement ring and blue set that actress Emma Corrin (Lady Diana Spencer) wore on the day she announced her engagement to Prince Charles in the series.
