The Curiosity rover will travel around the Red Planet for another three years. NASA extends eight space missions

We are talking about the Martian orbiters Mars Odyssey, Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, MAVEN, the Curiosity rover, the landing seismographic probe InSight, the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter in the orbit of the Moon, OSIRIS-REx and New Horizons, flying past Pluto and heading out of the solar system.

Most of these missions have been extended by three years, with the exception of OSIRIS-REx, which will last at least nine years to complete the new mission, and InSight, which will operate until the end of 2022 if its electrical system does not allow more. The OSIRIS-REx probe was sent in September 2016 to the asteroid Bennu, it should return to Earth in 2023, and the InSight lander has been on the surface of Mars since 2018.
