The deadline for submitting objections against the content of forest maps expires on 31 May

The Ministry of Environment and Energy announced the deadline for submitting objections against the content of forest maps on May 31, 2022.

The online applications for submission of objections and obvious errors on the website of the body “Hellenic Land Registry” (https://www.ktimatologio.gr/el/e-services/civilians) will remain available for acceptance of requests until the deadline, as announced by the ministry.

The submission of the objection is accompanied by:

· The delimitation of the polygon that concerns the request.

Invoking the existence of a legitimate interest.

· The commitment to pay the special fee.

After the submission of the objection and with a deadline of ten (10) days after the expiration of the deadline for objections, a file is sent by the interested party to the relevant Support Point of the Forest Map Post (SYADX) which includes at least:

· The copy of the form of the submitted objections, printed and signed (issued by the electronic application).

· Evidence proving the payment of the special fee or the objection of submission issued by the electronic application.

· The legal interest.

The name of the interested party and the protocol number of the objections submitted must be indicated in the consignment file. The above information ensures the admissibility of the request.

Additional evidence (such as a photo interpretation report, topographic diagram, etc.), invoked by the interested party, may be included either in the above correspondence or submitted to the Committee for the Examination of Objections (EPEA) during the examination of the objection.

Those interested who consider that they do not have time to file an objection, are also given the opportunity, similarly until 31 May 2022, to submit an electronic request for correction of a manifest error, which is submitted free of charge and examined by the relevant Forest Directorate.

In case of rejection of the obvious error, the relevant application will be forwarded to the competent Committee for the Examination of Objections (EPEA). Η ΕΠ.Ε.Α. will consider the application as a submitted objection, notifying the relevant transmission document to the interested party and providing a deadline of thirty (30) days for the payment of the corresponding fee, in cases where this is provided.
