Microsoft ended support for the Windows 7 operating system a year ago on January 14, 2020. Nevertheless, millions of people continue to use this OS, despite the risks and security threats. At the time of the end of support, Windows 7 was used on about 1 computer in 4 in the world, and by January 2021, more than 1 in 10.

Moving from Windows 7 to Windows 10 is still free – Microsoft continues to turn a blind eye to a loophole that has been working for years.
