Following the announcement of the Galaxy S21 Ultra with S Pen stylus support, Samsung has confirmed that it plans to add stylus support to other smartphones.
This week, a well-known netizen under the nickname Ice Universe confirmed that the Galaxy Note lineup has been buried, and the latest Galaxy Note smartphone was released last year.
Another reputable source, Ross Young, founder of research companies Display Supply Chain Consultants and DisplaySearch, also said the company has no plans to release the Galaxy Note21. According to his inside information, Samsung may release a modified version of last year’s Galaxy Note20, which will be called the Galaxy Note20 FE (Fan Edition). It is this smartphone that will mark the sunset of the Galaxy Note era.

Sales of the flagship smartphones Galaxy Note20 and Galaxy S20 were disappointing last year. Sources believe the decision to discontinue production of the Note series was purely strategic. In fact, the decision to kill the Galaxy Note was made for the benefit of the Galaxy S21. If there is no Galaxy Note21 on the market, then those wishing to get a Samsung flagship with a stylus will buy the Galaxy S21 Ultra. This will ultimately lead to an increase in overall sales of the Galaxy S21 line.
It remains to wait for the official statement from Samsung.
