Designer Pavel Gubin showed his vision of what the lightweight VK Lite application should become if released.
The main idea of the conceptual VK Lite is to provide users with only the functions they need for social interaction. All the side features that have appeared in recent years must be abandoned – due to this, the application will become lighter in every sense, that is, it will take up less space and work faster on weak devices.
The designer showed not just the actual VKontakte client, but with cut-out functions, but a completely new interface – it is clearly drawn in the Material You style from Android 12, and this is clearly hinted at by the function of adapting the interface to the color of the wallpaper on the main screen. In addition to changing the design, Pavel Gubin also redesigned the application logic – for example, he moved the subsections down to make them easy to switch on devices with large screens.
