Huawei is preparing to release the MatePad Pro 2021 tablet computer – and it, not the Huawei P50, should be the first device of the Chinese company with HarmonyOS instead of regular Android. In this case, it is natural to expect some software features of the model that will distinguish the new product from its Android counterparts. And at least one such feature was found.
An image of the MatePad Pro 2021 Desktop has appeared on the Web, on which at the bottom there is an application quick launch bar, very similar to the well-known Dock in MacOS. According to the source, the location of the “Huawei Dock” at the bottom edge is not the only option for displaying it: there is also a split panel mode, when part is fixed at the left edge of the display, and the other part is at the right.
MatePad Pro 2021 is already undergoing certification tests of the Chinese regulator TENAA, the official premiere of the novelty is expected in May. The device is credited with SoC Kirin 9000 and a screen with a diagonal of 12.2 or 12.6 inches.
