A doctor appealed to Australians who want to get stuck coronavirus on purpose. This is because some people are said to try and become infected so that they do not have to be isolated later.
Speaking to Channel 10 on Tuesday night, Dr Chris Moy, who is also vice president of the Medical Association of Australia, spoke about the dangers associated with Covid-19. His statements were made after the news that a bride in Melbourne revealed via TikTok that she would do everything she could to get infected so that the coronavirus does not affect her marriage next month.
In the relevant video, the woman appears to be hugging people and sharing drinks with others, hoping to catch a coronavirus now despite the days before her wedding.
