It certainly doesn’t hurt – in addition to the beautiful presence and charisma – a good sequel: on Instagram Lucien boasts over one and a half million followers, while Regé has exceeded six. Numbers aside, both are aimed at the same type of fan, very young, present on social media and attentive to social causes.

James Bond is a classic and attracts a transversal audience, but to bring the new generations into cinemas you need to speak a language familiar to them and it is no secret that it is Emily in Paris that Bridgerton stand out among the most viewed projects on the streaming platform. More than simple series, these are now cultural phenomena and the performers themselves represent a certain type of masculinity.

Elegant and discreet: Simon and Alfie work on subtraction and they attract for this very reason. A gift, in short, that the new James Bond is certainly comfortable. On the other hand, shouldn’t a spy go unnoticed and be shrouded in mystery?

According to Daily Mailwho was the first to spread the indiscretion about the casting, the production is trying to make 007 in step with the times, a character capable of reflecting the multi-ethnicity of our societywhich is why it was previously rumored that the favored candidate was Idris Elba.

A choice, therefore, in the name of inclusiveness and diversity would be able to offer a greater representation, conveying timeless values but also current messages at the same time.

As far as these two actors’ agendas go, no problem: Lucien has filmed The Last Sentinel and Regé is part of the cast of Dungeons & Dragons, coming soon to the cinema. The rest of the commitments can always be postponed, right?

The announcement of the new James Bond, however, is expected in Marchso the games are still wide open.
