The ECB bought net assets worth € 15.35 billion last week compared to € 28.46 billion previously

The European Central Bank (ECB) announced on Monday that it bought net assets for 15,351 million euros last week as part of its quantitative easing program, compared with 28,461 million euros the previous week, as reported Reuters.

“The ECB sold 68 million euros net of corporate bonds in the week ending May 28, compared to 1,506 million euros the previous week.”

“The ECB sold 3,395 million euros net of assets in the Public Sector Procurement (QE) Program in the week ending May 28 compared to 5,892 million euros the previous week.”

“The ECB bought 20,035 million euros net of bonds from the Pandemic Emergency Purchase Program (PEPP) in the week ending May 28 compared to 21,671 million euros the week before.”

“The ECB bought 61 million euros net of assets in the Asset-Backed Securities Purchase Program in the week to May 28 against sales of 276 million euros a week earlier.”

“The ECB sold 1,282 million euros net of assets in the Covered Bonds Purchase Program 3 in the week to May 28 compared to sales of 332 million euros a week earlier.”
