The economy won’t go back to where it was

Philadelphia Fed President Patrick Harker He said on Friday that the US economy was very strong before the pandemic hit, noting that it “will not go back to where it was,” as Reuters reported.

“The pandemic has exacerbated trends in the economy, including inequality and automation,” Harker added. “It will be important to train workers to get better jobs.”
