“The Electric State”: film with Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt gets trailer

The first trailer for “The Electric State” the new film by the Russo brothers (“Avengers” and “Hidden Agent”), was released this Wednesday (18). The retrofuturistic production arrives on Netflix on March 14, 2025.

Set after a robot uprising, in an alternative version of the 1990s, the plot follows an orphaned teenager who adventures through the western United States in search of her younger brother, in the company of a robot that looks like a cartoon, a smuggler and his faithful companion.

The production stars Chris Pratt (“Guardians of the Galaxy”) and Millie Bobby Brown (“Stranger Things” and “Enola Holms”) and names like Ke Huy Quan (“Everything Everywhere at the Same Time”), Jason Alexander (“Seindfield” and “Pretty Woman”), Giancarlo Esposito (“Breaking Bad” and “The Boys”), Stanley Tucci (“The Devil Wears Prada” and “O Olhar Paraíso”) and more make up the cast.
