The Ellactor group is a member of the ACFE Corporate Alliance

The ELLAKTOR Group is now a member of the ACFE Corporate Alliance, the alliance of the largest companies in the world for the fight against fraud, from November 1, 2021.

The announcement was made in the context of the Conference organized by the Anti-Fraud Institute (ACFE Greece), entitled “Money Laundering and Tax Fraud”, on the occasion of the celebration of International Fraud Awareness Week (November 14 – 20).

The Vice President of the Board of Directors of ELLAKTOR, Mr. Mars Xenophos, representing the Group, stated in this regard: “The participation of the ELLAKTOR Group in this Alliance confirms our commitment to the continuous promotion of best practices of” good governance “and the consolidation of a culture of integrity and transparency”.

He continued: “Our participation seals a series of initiatives that we have taken in this period, and rewards our ongoing effort to establish a culture of integrity that fully meets the ever-changing demands of modern governance.”

The ultimate goal of joining this alliance is to support the Group in matters of information, training, detection, prevention and counterfeiting, which is one of our key strategic pillars and priorities.

With its participation in the ACFE Corporate Alliance, the ELLAKTOR Group is part of a wide network of affiliated members, who recognize the value of CFE (Certified Fraud Examiners) as well as the importance of encouraging their staff for training and acquisition of necessary tools for detecting, preventing and preventing fraud. It is pointed out, according to relevant research of ACFE, that companies and organizations that employ CFEs face 59% lower losses due to fraud and at the same time reveal fraud 40% earlier than companies and organizations without CFE.
