The managers of a Dutch museum found one of the museum’s modern art works, a work that looks like two empty beer cans, in the trash, after a member of the museum staff threw it away thinking it was… trash. The work, titled “All the good times we spent together” by French artist Alexandre Lavet, looks at first glance like two empty beer cans, one of which is cracked. These are actually two metal boxes hand painted in acrylic. “A lot of time and effort went into their creation,” according to the museum. But its artistic value was not…recognized by a technician, who threw the work in the trash while it was on display inside a glass elevator shaft.
