Russia carried out a “massive attack” against Ukraine overnight and targeted its energy infrastructure across the country, Ukrainian authorities announced this morning. “The enemy has attacked our energy infrastructure again!” Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko announced in a post on the Telegram social media. Those attacks targeted “production facilities and transmission networks” in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Zaporizhia and Lviv regions, Galushchenko listed. The Russian attack in the Kharkiv region today caused a power outage for more than 200,000 consumers, Oleksiy Kuleba, deputy chief of staff of the Ukrainian presidency, also announced via Telegram.
