The EU reinforces the protection of children on the Internet – Greece in the early countries with age verification system

In Greece and in four other EU countries, the age verification application will be tested on online, the European Commission announced today. As part of the Digital Services Act (DSA), the Commission today presented an original verification of the age of internet users in order to prevent children from accessing harmful and dangerous content. According to the Commission, the verification implementation will be tested and further adapted in cooperation with five Member States: Greece, Denmark, Spain, France and Italy.
