The European Union and the United Kingdom have agreed on a “trustworthy trade scheme” which would allow 98% of goods that flow between Great Britain and Northern Ireland to be duty freereported RTE Europe editor Tonny Connelly.
“The other 2% could potentially benefit from discounts at any rate,” Connelly posted on social media Wednesday. He added that “in general, the tariffs would only apply if no free trade agreement is reached between the EU and the UK.”
