Shortly before its international presentation of the flagship smartphone OnePlus 10 Pro, OnePlus published information that may disappoint potential buyers of the device.
OnePlus has revealed that the OnePlus 10 Pro global model will support 80W wired charging like its Chinese counterpart, charging a 5,000mAh battery from 1% to 100% in 32 minutes. However, such a model will be released in Europe and India. For North America, charging will be limited to 65W in that region.

OnePlus stated that this is because “SUPERVOOC 80W fast charging does not currently support 110 or 120 volt AC, which is the standard for outlets in the region.”
OnePlus did not reveal how much additional time the OnePlus 10 Pro would take to fully charge when using 65W charging, but did note that the smartphone will charge from 1 to 100% in 47 minutes with 50W wireless charging in all regions.
The presentation of the international version of OnePlus 10 Pro will take place on March 31.
