Bermudez’s father wrote a touching message about his son in Spanish on his Facebook account: “God has decided that he wants another angel in paradise. I still do not believe it. The names of the victims became known as relatives of the missing visited the scene of the tragedy on Sunday, with some shout the names of their loved ones next to the wreckage, hoping to hear them.
The deaths of nine people have been confirmed so far. Hopes of finding survivors under the rubble of the high-rise building have begun to fade. The names of four more victims have become known. They are Stacie Fang, 54, whose 15-year-old son was videotaped while being pulled alive from the rubble.
