It shocks the tragedy in Miami, where more than 150 people continue to be ignored after collapse part of a residential complex.
Among the victims were a mother and her son, who was a disabled person, but also an elderly couple who had been married for 59 years.
The mother is 46-year-old Ana Oritz and her son is 26-year-old Luis Bermudez, who suffered from muscular dystrophy and could not walk.
To the dead who were pulled out from the ruins including 80-year-old Leon Oliwkowicz and his 74-year-old wife Christina Elvira.
Bermudez’s father wrote a touching message about his son in Spanish on his Facebook account: “God has decided that he wants another angel in paradise. I still do not believe it. I love you and I will love you forever “. He also shared a photo of a handwritten note, writing: “You gave me everything. I will miss you all my life. I will never leave you alone. “
The names of the victims became known as relatives of the missing visited the scene of the tragedy on Sunday, with some shout the names of their loved ones next to the wreckage, hoping to hear them.
The deaths of nine people have been confirmed so far. Hopes of finding survivors under the rubble of the high-rise building have begun to fade. The names of four more victims have become known. They are Stacie Fang, 54, whose 15-year-old son was videotaped while being pulled alive from the rubble.
Antonio Lozano, 83, and Gladys’s 79-year-old wife were also killed. They would celebrate the 59th anniversary of their wedding on July 21st.
Authorities also confirmed that 54-year-old Manuel LaFont, who lived on the 8th floor of the building, died in the collapse of the building. He was the father of two children.
Another body has been recovered, but has not yet been identified.
