The Fair Development Transition Program for 2021-2027 has been submitted to the Commission

The submission of the Fair Development Transition Program (TDF) and the Territorial Plans in the framework of the NSRF 2021-2027 through the National Node of the Special Service for Strategic Planning and Evaluation (EYSSA) to the European Commission was successfully completed. .

The Warrant Program for the period 2021-2027 is one of the first Sectoral Programs that are expected to be approved by the European Commission, thus contributing to the achievement of our national goals. It is the main pillar for the planning of a development strategy in the areas of warrants and provides the necessary means in order to achieve significant economic, social and environmental results.

The Warrants Program has a total budget of up to 1.63 billion euros and is structured in Priorities such as:

– The strengthening and promotion of entrepreneurship, with actions to strengthen enterprises – with emphasis on small and medium – and the connection of entrepreneurship with research and innovation.

– The energy transition, with energy actions such as district heating, electric propulsion, energy storage systems, etc.

– The circular economy, with actions aimed at the reuse of lignite soils and the development of new economic activities.

– The fair work transition, with actions to strengthen the skills of the human resources of the transition areas and the promotion of employment.

The Minister of Development and Investment, Adonis Georgiadis stated that “today, the day of the completion of the submission of the Warrant Program, fills me with satisfaction and joy, because despite the difficult period we are going through worldwide, our Government continues to work uninterruptedly We wish to congratulate the Deputy Minister, Nikos Papathanasis, the Chairman of the SDAM Coordinating Committee, Kostis Mousouroulis, the Commander of the Special Service, Kalis, Pelos their team, who worked diligently and zealously to achieve this ambitious endeavor “.

On his part, the Deputy Minister of Development and Investment responsible for the Fair Development Transition, Nikos Papathanasis congratulated all those who contributed to the successful completion of the Warrant Program and especially the Chairman of the SDAM Coordinating Committee, Mr. Kostis Mousouroulis. project and the Commander of the Special Warrant Service Mr. Pelopidas Kalliri.

As he said, “with the total public and private resources that will flow into our country in the next seven years and the change of the production model from the monoculture of lignite production, we are moving towards a green, cyclical and sustainable growth with more and quality jobs.
