The FBI has launched an investigation into the bridge that collapsed in Baltimore

An investigation into the causes of the collapse of the bridge in Baltimore, into which a container ship collided, has been launched by the FBI, as the Washington Post wrote today. In an email to AFP, the FBI confirmed it was “on board the freighter Dali” to conduct “forensic police operations” there, without elaborating or confirming the launch of an investigation. In late March, this 300-meter-long container ship hit a pier on the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore on the US east coast, causing it to collapse. The bodies of two workers who were working on the bridge in roadway maintenance work have been recovered, while four other people who remain missing are presumed dead.
