Eh nothing, it had to happen sooner or later, and it happened. Today came the press release announcing the first Dog Film Festival italiano, a festival (digitally) in which we can all participate, professionals and even amateurs. The fault is evident both ours, maybe we can just give some to the lockdown, but it is absolutely ours for those long evenings in lockdown where we enter the video tunnel of dogs (and cats) on Instagram and Tik Tok, we laugh, we send some to some friends (perhaps still with a bit of reticence) and we wonder why we don’t make one of these “viral videos” (an unbearable definition even before Covid).
What can we make our beloved dog (or cat) do that makes him laugh a lot? Isn’t he the most beautiful and likeable dog (or cat) in the world?
My cousin, a staid lawyer, sends me pictures of his dog and justifies himself when I hear him addressing the dog saying that yes, he knows, he gets a ridiculous voice when they talk together. And what can I answer that I have talked a lot, much more with my cat than with all the human beings “frequented” in the last year? They sent me a funny little eve which probably concerns me: a cat accuses a woman in front of the judge of being a stalker: «Judge, I wake up and she is there, she always looks at me, she takes pictures of me continuously even when I sleep». Here this would be a good track to participate in the festival …
