Nikos Androulakis will have the first informal debate with the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, not in tomorrow’s pre-order debate in the Parliament, but in a little while, at 11.30, in the Plenary of the European Parliament, in Strasbourg.

The president of PASOK-Movement of Change is going to represent the European Socialists at the special session of the European Parliament where the main speaker is Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

Colleagues of the president of PASOK-Movement of Change note that today’s appearance of Mr. Androulakis is consistent with his commitments for months to oppose values and positions with implementable proposals and not costly crowns and tensions.

According to them, the speech of Nikos Androulakis will be a national programmatic speech, which will not resemble the toxic confrontation, as they say, that is often recorded between Mr. Mitsotakis and Tsipras in Parliament.

The president of PASOK-Movement of Change, according to his colleagues, intends to use the stage of the European Parliament to highlight the different progressive sign and the different priorities that are focused on the reduction of social inequalities, in contrast to the government’s choices .

In this direction, he will make detailed reference to his proposals for the utilization of the Recovery Fund, the need for social policy housing programs, the tax mix that will realistically relieve the small, medium and lower income classes.

In the field of foreign policy, Mr. Androulakis is expected to make extensive reference to Greek-Turkish, insisting on a European deterrence policy with the arms embargo as the first priority.
